TRACK STARS: A History of the Penrose Velodrome
Since 1962, the Penrose Velodrome has been the home for St. Louis track racers. The track, one of only 23 in the country, has hosted National Championship races, State Championships and a weekly racing series that continues today. Track racing places a premium on speed and strategy as riders race fixed gear bikes without brakes wheel to wheel around a banked track at up to 25 mph.
We're creating a documentary about the Penrose track, the neighborhood and the history of St. Louis track racing. Most of the prinicipal photography has been completed and editing has begun. Look for the completed project early next year. This project is funded, in part, from a grant from University City's CALOP Commission.
Business Promo videos for the web and beyond
For the past several months Storyville Pictures has been working with the Seattle production company Clatter & Din to create promotional videos for area businesses. These videos end up on the Neighborhood pages of KTVI's website, the businesses' own website and who knows where else. These reasonably priced videos are a great way to tell potential customers what makes your business special and why your current customers keep coming back to you. We've created videos for businesses as diverse as funeral homes, private schools, restaurants, doctors and dentists and fitness centers. See what we can do for you!
